Our Cumbre del Sol Apartment

We fell in love with Cumbre del Sol the minute we drove up the mountain and discovered the stunning views. And we're sure you will too!

The apartment

The apartment is in the Pueblo Panorama community of Cumbre del Sol, and has a breathtaking, uninterrupted 180° view across the Mediterranean. On a clear day, you can see Ibiza on the horizon. Imagine waking up to that vista every morning!

Our spacious two bedroomed apartment is comfortably and tastefully furnished to a high standard and sleeps up to four people. It has two bedrooms, a lounge/dining room, family sized bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is fully air-conditioned. Rental also includes secure fibre wifi.

The large yet private terrace is ideal for alfresco eating, sunbathing or simply relaxing with a drink and enjoying the stunning view. 

Or you can cool off in the pool... only 25 metres away in one of two infinity swimming pools (with a toddlers splash area) exclusively for residents' use.
Local facilities include a supermarket, pharmacy/medical centre, bar and snack bar and the highly recommended La Cumbre Restaurant which also has its own communal pool and small outside bar for enjoying a lazy tapas lunch and drinks.

A car is essential due to the steepness of the area. Parking is directly outside the apartment and there are 8 steps down to the apartment. Nearest airport is Alicante.

If you're looking for night clubs and burgers this holiday is probably NOT for you. But if you want to relax away from it all, enjoy magnificent views, and do a bit of sight seeing this could be your perfect holiday.

Climate for Costa Blanca

The area has a very stable Mediterranean climate with approximately 300 sunny days a year. The summers are hot, the winters mild. The sea temperature during the summer months is up to 25 degrees. It hardly rains during the months July–August. Being slightly higher up the mountain means in the summer the temperatures don't get crazy hot. But there's air conditioning in the apartment anyway, which also acts as heating in winter (it also blows hot air).

Local area

Moraig beach is a small cove at the base of the Cumbre del Sol. From there you can access the picturesque undercliff walk.

The spectacular La Granadella National Park Reserve adjoins the area, ideal for walkers and climbers.

There’s also scuba diving, fishing and sailing, tennis, karting, horse riding, and golf courses nearby.

10 minutes drive away are Moraira & Javea with child-friendly beaches and shops & many excellent restaurants.

Lying at the heart of the Costa Blanca, this area is known as the Marina Alta, an area renowned for its outstanding natural beauty with mountains, sea and nature reserve. A photographer’s paradise!
